Bridge The Gaps and King Football Academy host first 7v7 tryouts and Toy Drive

King Football Academy (KFA) and Bridge The Gaps (BTG) host our first 7v7 tryouts in collaboration with a Toy Drive effort just in time for the holidays. It was a great day and the kids not only showed up to ball but they showed out in their generosity for a good cause with a truck load of toys. KFA and BTG dropped a truck load of new toys off at the Houston Salvation Army following the tryouts.

Don’t let all those toys weight you down! Ha.

Athletes looking for tryouts results will be notified directly. We appreciate all the support and community participation we had to include everyone trying out, to Jason Oliphant Photography capturing the day, to Ollin Athletics and Sports Medicine hosting our event, and the parents there supporting their student athlete. We even had a DJ ya’ll. It was truly a great productive day.

Tryouts round 2 will be posted again shortly and are usually on our social media pages first! We anticipate more participants and look forward to hosting a positive growth environment for our active youth again soon!
