BTG & KIPP TEXAS

Bridge The Gaps and KIPP Texas Summer Program

BTG had a great opportunity to organize and participate in the summer KIPP athletics program. If you’re not familiar, KIPP Houston Public Schools is an open-enrollment, public, tuition-free charter school network of 59 schools with more than 31,000 pre-K-12 students across the state.

We were very honored to organize and provide excellent athletic resources for the student-athletes; to include professional athlete guest speakers, mentorship, and training, to help guide them as their high school academic and athletic journey continues.

In addition to the resources, BTG was able to connect with a lot of the lower-income students and provide post-summer program opportunities for several to include connecting them with additional academic and athletic training.

A great milestone for BTG! We are so excited to be able to participate and want to send a huge thank you to all the coaches, friends, and family that came out to help support the active youth!

The elements were real, but they pushed through!
